02 June 2014 130A Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dnThe Stewards enquired into an incident approximately two and a half furlongs from the finish involving Antique Platinum, ridden by P.J. Smullen, and Some Spirit, ridden by N.G. McCullagh, where it appeared interference had taken place. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards cautioned N.G. McCullagh to ride with more care in future.
130B Owenstown Stud StakesThe Racecourse Veterinary Surgeon reported to the Stewards that Chicago Girl trained by J.P. Murtagh was found to be showing signs of being in season following examination post race.
130C New BBQ Evening Format At Naas H'capThe Stewards enquired into an incident before the turn into the straight involving Six Of Hearts (GB), ridden by T.P. Madden, Ballyorban, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, and Jembatt, ridden by S. Corby, where it appeared Ballyorban ran short of room on the rail and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found any interference to be accidental in nature and took no further action. Mr. William Ross, accompanied apprentice T.P. Madden, and Mr. Michael Mulvany accompanied apprentice S. Corby at this enquiry.
